Storage of the data

All the data going collected by our website are stored at our website hosting partner, https://www.alphosting.ch (TIZoo Sàrl, info@tizoo.com).
They secure our website and other systems by taking technical and organizational measures to protect our website against loss, destruction, access, modification and the distribution of data by unauthorized persons. It is only possible to access the account after entering a username and personal password. Users should always keep their access information confidential and close the browser window once communication with us has ended, especially if the computer is shared with other people.
Https://www.alphosting.ch host their servers and website hosting services in Switzerland, so all files, data bases and emails are stored, saved and backed up in Switzerland. Swiss law and regulations on data protection apply to the data used by https://test.edelweiss-recrutement.ch
Usage data is encrypted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption on the internet.

Personal data

Art. 4 lit. a DSG defines data protection as all information relating to a specific or identifiable natural person.
This is data which needs to be provided as candidate, usually what you share in your CV – such as the user’s title, name, address and e-mail address, telephone number and information about their education and training; work experience; knowledge in the sense of additional qualifications; preferences for employment by edelweiss-recrutement.ch with information about the user’s occupational field, preferred place of work, working hours, etc.


We store data relating to users of information services which is provided by the users in their CV when registering.
The following categories of data are saved for applicants:
-Master data (e.g. name, postal address, email, telephone number)
– (Work) preferences (e.g. occupational field, type of employment)
-Education, work experience, knowledge
-Application data (e.g. certificates, references, CV, photo)
-Usage and subscription data (e.g. IP address, name of the retrieved file, date and time of the retrieval, transferred data volume, notification of successful retrieval, web browser and requesting domain.)

Purposes of data processing

We process your personal data for the following purposes:
1) To initiate and perform the application process or the arrangement of a fixed position for our customers
The applicant also authorizes us to obtain references from former employers and other reference providers in the frame of our client’s recruitment process.
2) The user expressly declares his or her consent to the processing of sensitive personal data (e.g. religion, health data, criminal records) that he or she voluntarily makes available to the clients of edelweiss-recrutement.ch if they are necessary for the purpose of doing business.
3) The user agrees that edelweiss-recrutement.ch will continue to process his or her data after the termination of the business relationship if this is necessary for the intended purpose, to provide you with information about possible job opportunities or interesting vacancies or for the purpose of providing advice about your further career planning. Legal retention periods will be respected. Consent can be revoked by the user at any time, by sending an email to contact@edelweiss-recrutement.ch. We reserve the right to store specific information if required to do so by law.
4) Compliance with legal rules and regulations, such as labor law, tax and social law as well as international sanctioning regulations (e.g. EU Anti-Terrorism Directive)

Type of data processing

None of your data we collect and store will be sold or made available to other unauthorized third parties. Edelweiss-recrutement.ch will only forward the data to customers, with your written consent, and after we discuss verbally and/or by email about your interest to do so and if this application is pertinent in regards of the professional opportunity.

Disclosure to third parties

In order to offer our recruitment services to our clients, your dossier (cv, motivation letter, work certificates, professional references, salary expectations, current salary, diplomas, etc) will be disclosed to our clients.


Prior to sending your application to our client, we set a proper phone discussion, decide together if this application is relevant, and if so, we send you a confirmation email gathering all the elements we discussed, for your approval.


Your data is transferred exclusively on the basis of the applicable data protection regulations, in particular within the context of the business transaction or on the basis of your prior consent.
Data transfers to government institutions and authorities entitled to receive information only take place within the scope of the statutory information obligations or if we are legally obliged to provide information by a court decision.

Use of the website

To optimize our website and information services, we collect and store data, such as the date and time at which the website was viewed, the website from which you accessed our page, etc. This data is anonymous and does not personally identify the website user. If necessary, user profiles are created using a pseudonym. Again, there is no connection between the natural person and the pseudonym in the collected usage data. We also use cookies to collect and store the usage data (see « Use of Cookies »). The collection and storage of data takes place in an anonymous or pseudo-anonymous form and cannot be traced back to you as a natural person.
