This role as Business Engineer Master Data is a newly opened, permanent position at a major industrial player in Switzerland.
You will report to the head of the Business Engineering department. Sitting in the Digitalization Service, Business Engineering is the link between IT and Business. This is a team of 12 people composed of process owners and analysts in the following areas: production, quality, maintenance, planning, master data, purchasing and inventory.
As a Business Engineer Master Dataou are the link between the business and the digital department in the field of master data. You analyze, coordinate and harmonize all requests, you create synergies with IT and the different stakeholders. You manage projects according to the client’s methodology, participate in the creation of the data governance concept.
Among your other tasks, you are responsible for testing new features and releasing them into the production system. You regularly perform system tests with the Process Owner and the Template Owner system during system updates. You create and deliver training courses and you are the contact person for the second level support.
The focus is mainly on SAP MM with all the Master Data Article part. As the whole is linked to the PP part, like planning, methods and production it is necessary to have good notion in this module. Good notions on Master Data Governance woud be a strong advantage.

Your role
The team of 12-15 people that you will manage is composed of project managers, functional experts and developers. It is tructured in self-organized teams and driven by objectives. Your role covers 2 major lines: ->For about 35%, an operational project leader role within the team, responsible for a portfolio of clients ->A Team Leader role up to about 65%, who acts as a link between the team and management, ensuring the smooth running of the team. As a Team Lead, you represent the Business Unit to the clients. It means you are the go-to person for escalation related matters, as well as for external events and meetings. As the ERP Business Team Leader, you manage the individual KPIs, annual appraisals, targets. You are involved in the recruitment efforts, training and onboarding of the new resources.

As a key role in our client’s ambitious digitalization strategy, we are recruiting their Senior SAP Program Manager in Switzerland.
In this position, you will be responsibile for defining the necessary projects, planning the transformation, coordinating and monitoring a rich, varied and evolving portfolio of projects. It is your role to lead a population of about 10 dedicated project managers.
This newly created role covers a wide scope of Digital Transformation programs. Specifically, the migration to S/4 Hana and the interfacing with the client’s complex IT landscape is the first main phase to embrace.
For the most part, the projects in these programmes are essentially organisational: changes of systems, organisation, processes. They involve about 10 project managers you will lead in dotted line management.
You will report to the Head of Innovation & Transformation. Your main internal interlocutors are the Project Managers, the Business Process Owners, the PMO. Additionally, you also interface with the Steering Committee, the Head of Business Unit, the Head of Digital.
This strategic position requires a significant seniority, including a proven track of record driving a complex migration to SAP S4 Hana.
